"As a single woman traveling with a large intimidating-looking dog (and I've traveled all over the world in third-world countries), I was very afraid. From the destroyed door safety-latch in my room, to the bent frame of my window screen on the ground level, suspicious folks waiting at the various entrances, shattered front entry door to the building, people walking around without teeth and not very 'with-it', vehicles in the parking lot were missing windows, car doors left wide open, and ultimately, I sincerely feared for my safety. I looked for the front desk clerk to explain I didn't feel safe and needed to book another hotel, but that person couldn't be found either, so I contacted Hotels.com for support in cancelling this reservation, but nothing has been done. I didn't stay more than 20 minutes in my room leaving it exactly as I found it (except for using one bar of soap) and I had to book another hotel. I would have felt safer if I had my husband and a sidearm but still wouldn't have slept."

"Typical Motel 6. I appreciate the low cost and dog-friendly policies. One night was a little concerning with someone roaming the halls at 3 am yelling obscenities (decided likely less threatening and more Tourette's). It went on for 20 minutes or so. I looked out my window and saw people in the lobby sitting rather unconcerned. Not sure what to take away from that information. The other concerning thing was that the security bar/lock on my door was broken off. I know, often with Motel 6, you kind of roll the dice so..."

"In our first room they put us in the bathroom was gross. There was hair everywhere, in the drain outside the walk-in shower. There was a piece of soap also in the drain. A dirty towel hanging behind the shower curtain We asked to be moved and guess what yep same thing. It was on the same floor (1st) So this time the maid came in to clean it I told her there was a bar of soap in the shower and when she left it was still there yuck. Did she even clean. So I just cleaned the bathroom myself"

"Downtown location, underground parking limited by vehicle height. No carpet in room, probably to ease upkeep. Decent breakfast. Inconvenient access from outside for security reasons."

"Overall fine stay, the river view with the patio is great. The bathtub is SOOO slick, slipped and got a gaunt gash in my shin and a huge bruise. "

"Clean room, beautiful unique hotel with antique charm, and lovely decor throughout. Crltic cowboy restaurant was the best!"
