"Room was clean but small by North American standards. Staff was helpful. Hotel was close to Plaza Major. However, it could be noisy sometimes in the evenings or wee mornings because of nearby restaurants and people in the street. This may bother light sleepers."

"Stayed at Posada del León de Oro for two nights and it was lovely. They front desk folks were lovely and helpful and held out bags because we arrived early. Our room was bigger than I expected and very modern in contrast to the building and neighborhood. The room has AC and an amazing shower. "Loved this cute hotel in a very old building right by a huge square. While the room was tiny it was very well laid out! The staff were wonderful and very helpful. So easy to walk everywhere from here - and 2 min walk to the best churros and chocolate great way to start the day! To our surprise, the pope was in town and drove down the street next to us waving from the pope mobile. Not something I intended to witness, but did! Also felt like the safest city ever - police were everywhere."
