"Room was dirty and in disrepair. Furniture was torn and stained -- one chair has a cigarette burn hole in it. The room smelled stale and musty it used to be a smoking room that hasn't been properly remediated. Hairs from previous guests were found on the bathroom and on the toilet. Certainly not worth $180/night. Arguably an $80/night motel."

"The building is old and the exterior shows it. However, the room had been updated and was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint was that the air conditioner was also an old unit that was loud and slightly damp/moldy smelling. Breakfast was so-so. It would be good if they added a small fridge with yogurt."

"We are local but we have an adult daughter living with us so we went to just get away, relax & stay cool while he was on vacation from work. We took our dogs with us and since it was very hot, we would walk the dogs in the yards beside & behind the building and we both smoke cigarettes so we would smoke while out there. "Disgusting and Completely Unacceptable I would not recommend Comfort Inn Splash Harbor to anyone, especially families with children. We arrived around 1:00 a.m., and because my child was exhausted, we had no choice but to stay. Otherwise, I would have left immediately. The hotel was filthy. The carpets throughout the property were so dirty they appeared black instead of their original red color. There was garbage left by the entrance, and the dining area chairs were visibly stained and dirty....

"The cottages and turtle pond were charming. If you intend on cooking your meals on site, I recommend bringing everything you think you may need for cooking and eating a meal."
