Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel

Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel

8/10 Good
"Our stay at the Berkeley was great overall due to the location to the beach and the on site bar. The room was spacious and clean. Some downsides was the staff was rude when we requested for more towels since they only put 2 towels for a 3 person stay and no wash cloths. They asked why we needed more towels and for a $600 a night stay, I don’t need to be asked why I use more than one towel and explain why I need wash cloths. These questions have obvious answers and we asked very politely. The elevator was extremely slow and had long wait times. Maybe not an avoidable problem but we were given a connecting room adjacent to a family with a lot of children. As a group of adults this was poor planning on the hotels part. Most hotels I’ve stayed at try to keep the kids in the same floors/sections of the hotel. Not a huge deal but they were not able to switch the room when the kids were very disruptive. Overall would recommend but def some things to note and possible question when booking."
