"This hotel is in a nice area. Many newer developments. Loved having the garden center as the view outside our window. It’s close to a few coffee shops also. The breakfast was good with nice employees attending. The hotel is modern and clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone."

"They have been renovating and things are kind of a mess. Pool being worked on. 2nd floor under renovation. 1st floor still needs done. Only 3rd floor done. One of these things is no big deal but when they all happen on the same visit it makes you think twice if you want to stay again. 2nd day breakfast had cold and underdone breakfast potatoes."

"I loved being able to book a 2 bedroom suite. The room seemed freshly remodeled. The overall look of the lobby, hallways and suite was impressive. Unfortunately, there was definitely a lack of attention to some details. In the freshly tiled bathroom, there was leftover grout all over the tiles. "The Hotel is very nice. It's nice having a bar and restaurant on site. The beds were comfortable, which is nice since most hotel beds are terrible in my back. Breakfast also was excellent. The only downside is the showwe which offers absolutely no privacy, so you better have a good relationship with your roommate 😄"

"We came back to this same hotel from a stay in 2025. It has significantly gone downhill. The entrance, hallways and doors are scuffed and look really worn. After check-in we found that our room was not cleaned. We specifically requested a room on the backside of the hotel to avoid Interstate traffic noise. The request was not communicated. Our room was clean and smelled deeply of Pine Sol. It had a fire alarm that continuously chirped, randomly. The first night, we called a front desk personnel...

There was a hole in one of the bathroom tiles that made me wonder if bugs came through, although I never saw anything Was on the less expensive side, especially as far as dog fee... $25. "We were charged a parking fee. There was nothing on our confirmation receipt about the fee. After we checked in the front desk person handed us a parking flyer to place in our window and told us it would be $7.00 to use the parking lot. I would expect a parking fee for a full service hotel in a downtown setting, but this was a convenience motel in a suburb of a small city in Iowa. Hidden fee...inexcusable"
