"I rarely write reviews for hotels, but for a first time stay, I was quite impressed with the hotel and beauty of both the outside and inside, the friendly staff and the convenience and location. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the lobby and bar area are very modern and charming. Highly recommended! "

"On a recent trip to Des Moines, we were fortunate enough to discover ESA Select Suites in Urbandale, IA. General Manager Stephen and Front Desk Attendants Marci and Drea gave us a welcome as warm as the weather outside (which, given the heat index that weekend, is really saying something!), and they were as friendly, kind, and helpful as they could possibly be. "Clean, comfortable beds, room and hotel smelled nice (no smoke). Breakfast had hot options like scrambled eggs, bacon on Saturday, and sausage. Also they had biscuits and gravy one day. Our room was quiet. There was no noise from highway even though the highway was close. We would stay there again. "
"Although they were booked, I didn’t hear anyone else in the hotel. Our room was spacious and we had booked for 6 but only ended up bringing 5. Most hotels don’t have that option and you have to purchase 2 rooms. We usually stay at Airb&b’s but we weren’t going to do anything but sleep because our day was busy. We checked in at 11pm. Fast check in and had breakfast in the morning around 9. "
"Excellent hotel within seconds of highway entrance (I80). Super clean, quiet, updated rooms with very comfortable bed and bedding, modern furniture and decor, huge TV, nice bathroom and walk-in shower with great lighting.
