"Room was dark and dingy, mattress felt like rocks, liquid soap came out of the body lotion container, no other toiletries, only one extra pillow for two guests, TV did not work, could hear water running thru the walls (guessing it was when others flushed or showered? gross!) had to take the breakfast to go and it was embarrassing! hardly worth two euros never mind the actual 16 euros we paid for it. reception gave bad info about restaurant and bus stop (would have missed our flight if we hadn't double checked!) When we checked out the gentleman at the front desk acknowledged the hotel was old and is in need of updates. Very disappointing, Expedia should not permit them to sell rooms on their site. Bad news!"

"What a gem of a hotel we found in Palermo! Location is excellent and the hotel amazing! We had a short stay and I wish it could have been longer. The staff is amazingly helpful. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. I really recommend booking at this property."

"The hotel is nice and the rooms have high ceilings, but it needs a complete refurbishment. No view at all. 2 small windows opening to small row of backyard. The staff were nice. The bed was good and comfortable, and the breakfast was acceptable."

"A few misleading elements....1. There is no parking included-this is a very busy area and its street parking only. 2. There is no beach view. 3. Breakfast does not start at 7 am as stated. It's a neat building centrally located. Great place to eat on the street level! It was an old palace and has fabulous chandeliers and characters. Could use a thorough cleaning."
