Polk Gulch hotel guide. Four Seasons hotel in Polk Gulch, San Francisco

Clean, easy to find and park

Great location free breakfast great

We were a bit worried when we arrived that the area outside the hotel was crazy busy and full of loud cars, bikes and music… but we had read a top tip to request a courtyard room and so actually our room was super quiet and relaxing and a nice break from the chaos of fisherman’s wharf. Restaurant breakfast was delicious but there’s also a latam coffee shop on the corner of the block directly behind the hotel who do amazing pastries. The hotel is perfectly located for the tram stop (get there...

First time stay at this hotel. Great location. Great public transport almost on doorstep. Great customer service at front desk. Al at the bar was excellent and gave some great tips on getting about. We were in Room 504, and had a view of Alcatraz and the Bay Bridge. We asked for a mini fridge and coffee making facilities, and by the time we got back from our trip for dinner, they were set up in our room for us. Bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely welcome from Lilibeth on reception late afternoon. Fab bedroom with 2 king beds, smallish bathroom & fab view of GGB. Clean & homely….far cry from some of the motels we’d been staying in for not dissimilar prices! Great breakfast included. Staff great.

Great hotel , with character. Good location, friendly staff.

Excellent hotel in a great safe location. Fantastic for exploring the bay area. Large room and bed with plenty of pillows. Car parking was free which is a great bonus for SF. Staff(Damon) were friendly and helpful. Nice new microwave in the room which was great for quick meals.

We have had a lovely stay at galleria park, lovely staff, comfortable beds and most of all a great location. Highly recommended.

Housekeeping staff were amazing, super friendly and so helpful, rooms absolutely spotless, huge shower room in Rm 202 2nd floor, right next to elevator. Fab room as we had loads of cases & bags. Prime location, we actually walked to Ghiardelli square and Fisherman's Wharf from there, used Waymos quite a lot they were super fun 😁 The only con I have is for some unkown reason in San Francisco, folks like to roar about on motorbikes from about 7pm-12am ish and from our room, quite loud,...

Great location , staff and hotel

My stay in San Francisco was part of a larger trip which also included New York and LA. Honestly the hotel was perfect for what I was looking for, very easy going. No uncomfortable pestering (although I’d recommend using the do not disturb sign to avoid being woken by housekeeping). The location was excellent and walking everywhere was super simple. One lovely lady at reception was amazing with directions and recommendations, one of which was cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge (a must...

We loved the concept and hotel ethics regarding your love of dogs and supporting their welfare. Danni and John were fabulous having facilitated our meet and greet with Buster, Beau and lily. We will cherish our playtime with you all. Highly recommend your hotel and will forever sing your praises. Don’t ever change your doing great as you are.

Good location for what we wanted to do. Many warned us off SF due to homeless situation but we felt safe in daylight hours. Lovely restaurant recommends from hotel team & walkable gor our Love Tour.

Excellent value for a well decorated, spacious and clean room (refurbished a year ago). Free, ample parking was a massive bonus - and great value when compared with other hotels expensive nightly rates. We booked 3 nights when visiting the city, and the location for seeing the sites was great; a Big Bus tour pick-up spot was conveniently 50 yds down the street. Paul and Lloyd on reception were very helpful; Paul was especially friendly and provided much useful info when we were checking in. A...

Stayed for two nights. Very well located.
