The area is the “SoHo” of Paris and closest major attractions are Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dame, both about a 10 minute walk. Even before arriving to the hotel, the hotel sent us a survey of what we planned to experience on our trip so they could help us coordinate and book excursions and experiences.
