"We had a lovely stay here…booked very last minute and arrived with a lovely welcome. The room was very clean and warm and we had a beautiful view of the inland sea and mountains beyond. The bed was really comfy. They were very welcoming of our 2 dogs. We had a drink in the bar before walking into trearddur for dinner. The walk was very pleasant and is only 1.5 miles. "Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"Love this hotel. Location is perfect, can walk down into Bangor or stay in upper banger. Plenty of bars, fast food and restaurants. Staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast is soo good here. Apart from the toaster which takes forever."

"Our stay at Y Capel was wonderful! We loved the heritage associated with the building. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom seemed to have been recently updated and the shower was awesome. The common area was lovely with extra amenities. Check-in at the Erskine Arms (immediately across the road) was quick and easy. "We stayed at Craig Eithin B&B in August 2025, and everything was just amazing. The room was spotless, and there was plenty of parking available. David and Debbie are wonderful hosts, so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared every morning. David kindly suggested places to visit and even helped us plan our daily itinerary to avoid the busy times, which made our experience even better.
