"This apartment was off the beaten path just around the corner from a small canal. We were on the 3rd floor, there’s no elevator, so that was a hike. View from the room to see the canal we had to stick our head out of the window and look to the right. The staff was extremely welcoming, a surprise of snack was a welcomed surprise! "Location was great - 12 minute walk to the train station. Their breakfast is a normal European breakfast - light. The room had AC without a locked temperature which was great because we could put it to as cold as we wanted. Issue: There was sooo many fruit flies in our room. "Venice is one of those complicated cities to navigate so it's hard to optimize for the "best location". It was a bit of a long walk and lots of stairs from the train station and bus terminal. Even if you take a vaporetto it's a winding walk through the streets---only a taxi could get you conveniently to this hotel.
