Cari B&B di Port Douglas Hinterlands

"Excellent location. two minute walk to the beach and on the same street as all the restaurants and shops. Our room was super clean when we arrived and I was pleasantly surprised that there was a wand in the shower. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. My only negative comment would be that there are no electrical outlets by the night stands (at least in our room). We had to run an extension cord from the other side of the room to the night stand so that I could use my cpap machine for...

"This property feels dated. The rooms at the back of the property feel like you are in the basement. The family rooms may be more pleasant but as a solo traveller it felt like staying in an outdated basement room. Walking past the bin store and maintenance area didn’t give any feeling of comfort. This is definitely a family hotel. Not ideal for solo travellers. The hotel is 15 mins walk out of town. For a solo travellers it may be better to try one in the centre. On a plus side the staff are...

"Reception staff were very accommodating and helpful"

The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and as it costs $20 to replace towels they were wet for our stay unless you wanted to do washing. The kitchen amenities were extremely basic and the TV postion is not viewable from bed..... something that is nice when having a Nana nap on holidays. The outdoor spa wasn't clean. There was 2 cheap broken hair dryers in the bathroom and with so much water on the floor it didn't feel safe to use...

"Chambre pas tres propre"

"It’s a stunning place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The view is spectacular. The rooms are clean and all the amenities are nice."

I was looking forward to doing some laundry while here on my one night stay but the young man from the front desk had 1 of the 2 washing machines and the only dryer tied up most of the day so I was not able to get any laundry done. Even when I told him I had a short time to stay, he did not offer to let me go ahead of him and use the dryer, which takes over an hour to dry clothes. I could have stayed at the...
