"This is my first poor review for a hotel experience unfortunately. Not only was there a hidden fee hold of 200 additonal dollars, which Expedia and the Hotel's home website both stated it was a 50 dollar hold, but from the start my king suite had many issues, such as a very smelly garbage disposal, broken alarm clock, children's handprints smeared all over the bedroom window, and pen marks on the kitchen countertops. Also, the cold water side of the bathroom sink did not work/wouldn't turn on, and the shower would not get hot in the morning to start my day. Hotel staff did not offer to do anything to compensate, other than thank me for letting them know. From a professional perspective, this does not create a space a guest wants to return to in the future, which I would have considered otherwise had it been handled appropriately."
