"This bnb is a gem in every way. The location in the historic district is perfect. You can walk everywhere. Car parking is very easy on the street. The bnb itself is stunning and comfortable. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was like none other we have ever seen. The host was friendly and helpful, and her breakfast was remarkable! She couldn’t do enough to make sure that we had everything we needed or wanted. The property and backyard with a pool was beautiful! We highly recommend...

"Beautiful property and beautiful family. The private tour of the local sites and Duoro valley river are a must - it’s a more personalized and intimate experience than those big group tours. Worth every penny. Even more, they accommodate to special requests. With the help and coordination of the family (Edu in particular), I successfully proposed to my longtime girlfriend. This place will always hold a special place for me. I look forward to returning."

"Das Hotel ist schön gelegen, aber abgelegen. Ohne Auto geht da gar nichts. Selbst der Bahnhof nebenan, der Luftlinie vielleicht 100 m entfernt ist, braucht 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Frühstück war sehr schön, vor allem weil man toll draußen mit Blick auf den Douro sitzen konnte - der Kaffee war allerdings unterirdisch. Das war der schlechteste Kaffee, den ich in Portugal getrunken habe"
