"This was our first stay at Go2 Portishead. We were welcomed by a nice receptionist. The room was clean with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The parking was convenient and nearby. We would recommend the hotel and hope to stay there again."

"This place has been transformed from a house into a 10 room guest house but with virtually no health and safety measures in place or faulty/unusable ones. The rooms, themselves, are ok but small but, again, no PAT Testing done, no fire exits highlighted etc. The showers are filthy and poorly maintained (more water comes out of the hose than reaches the head). All in all avoid at all costs. Fire doors are wedged open and the only fire blanket is very high up."

"A lovely view from the hotel, a shame there isn’t a great deal of space to sit outside to make the most of it. The staff were lovely and very helpful which was a plus. The hotel felt a little run down and there were obvious signs of previous issues that had been patched up, there was also a musty smell in various areas around the hotel. "Convenient location off the motorway. Plenty of parking. Friendly check-in. Room was spacious, clean with large bed and well fitted bathroom with a decent shower. Good facilities in the room such as hair straightener and hair dryer but no kettle. Hot/ cold water is available at a tap in the corridor so be prepared to take your teapot to get water for a brew. Food is served at the adjoining 'diner' which was always busy. Not great options for vegetarians (a plant burger) but breakfast went did...

"Lovely 2 night stay. Super Comfy bed which is a plus for those with a bad back or hip..slept so well. Spacious room even though we booked the smallest category. Wonderful rain shower. L'Occitane branded hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Quiet air con so was able to keep on all night without it being noisy. Window opens ever so slightly so lovely breeze comes in. We were there when the weather was +30 degrees celcuis. Great views of the Gorge and Clifton Bridge from the bar /pub...

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off.
