"The view from the hotel is spectacular. Inside the room and corridors the decor is dated and shabby. The bathroom taps were grubby with grime and difficult to turn. No bottled water in the room and next to no soundproofing between rooms, especially bathrooms. The fire doors in the corridor banged when shutting. "I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. Housekeeping knocked on door early followed by maintenance which was not urgent and could have been done after checkout time. "

"Great, well appointed apartment which is very central. Can be quite noisy at night especially having to have the windows open when it’s hot. Seemed to be a popular location for late night drinkers to have heart to hearts in the wee hours. Can’t fault the apartment, it had everything you could need. Minutes away from the town and beach. On the rainy days we had there were even board games for kids which my son loved. Thanks for a great stay. "

"Hotel is in great location but the car park is a public car park. So in busy times you could end up with no space although it’s a large car park. And it’s rough, loose stones and not flat. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We had a lovely sea view room, comfortable bed, nice bedding, not huge and the en suite is quite snug, but lovely and clean and modern. Nice to have cooked to order breakfast, overall a good place to stay."
