I emailed them before arrival but they reply really late. We stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday and there's a change in the gate code to get inside the building. They never informed us. They told me to email me the new code instead of just saying it directly and I waited for their email which never came. So I have to call them and ask...

"The Douro River apartments might actually be selling themselves short when it comes to location. The hotel is on the Gaia side of the river, which has a clean, spacious, lively feel and is loaded with shops, market stalls, delicious restaurants, and all of the wine tasting rooms. The apartments are also just 1 block away from the south side of of the lower level of the Dom Luis I Bridge, and within 5 minutes, you can be on the Ribeira side. It was well equipped (coffee machine, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher were all nice additions I wasn’t necessarily expecting), in a good location close to 2 x subway stations and large supermarket, excellent communication from host pre and during our stay as we required. "Inicialmente fomos surpreendidos com o apartamento no 5 andar, tivemos que subir com malas e feira de ESCADA. Tive problemas com o travesseiro que era fino e já desgastado, pedi reposição e nada. O chuveiro parou de aquecer no segundo dia, me trocaram de apartamento…. O suporte funciona bem!!! Vagabde garagem tem facul na rua a baixo custo. O apartamento é grande, bem equipado…. "
