It is really a 5 star hotel. Everything was excellent, rooms, staff, service…etc. Location was a little far from the busy streets and shops but not bad, about 10-15 minutes walk. Highly recommend.

My second time at this hotel. It really is the perfect city pad, close to Trindade metro station and 10 mins walk to the old town, without being in the middle of it. Very stylish rooms and large bathrooms, plus a lovely indoor pool and hot tub. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The facade of an old theatre is built into the new hotel.

Overall the experience was average. There needs to be better communication between hotel staff and spa staff. We requested the front desk’s help with booking spa service as one of the days we were there, it was going to be raining the whole day. The day before the spa reservation request, we were going to be out the full time the spa was open and the spa did not take online reservations which is why we asked for assistance with front desk. The front desk never checked for us or provided confirmation. It was very underwhelming service. Another lack of assistance was when we asked front desk for dinner recommendations, no desire to help us. There were a few helpful employees, that contributed to an enjoyable stay.

Had a great experience staying here. It was my first time traveling solo, and one of the receptionist took his time to mark a bunch of recommended sights and experiences on a map he gave me. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Room was clean & well cared for. The only issue was the crazy prices 4.00€ bottle of water. Bought a .67€ at grocery store & it was bigger! Also an issue with in-room temp control. Room was super but but we resolved it.
