I found the rooms very small. We were two people and did not have space to place or back packs. Mind you, this is a problem we found in many other hotels and towns in Portugal and Spain

Worthwhile but check on Air Conditioning

Friendly staff. Made a good recommendations for a bus tour and local restaurants. Just need to make sure you get a reservation for one of the port tasting. HIGHLY advised to have a bus map and a phone map app. It is easy to get lost. There are not signs for every road. The air conditioner broke 30 min after turning it on.

The hotel is too old and in very bad shape, the elevator is really small (one person with one luggage). The parking the offer is located at another hotel and the place was really bad as well. They asked to keep the car's key and the next day they struggled a lot to find it. Fully not recommendable.

Rather worn and had plumbing problems, causing all the bath water to run across the bathroom floor not down the outlet! Very little sound proofing inside or outer walls so hard to sleep. Floors very confusing and elevator miniscule but did not go to all floors. Dreadful and expensive coffee/tea in lobby. Fine for quick basic visit to centre.

Enjoyable

Welcoming staff, good breakfast, steady WIFI, clean environment, comfortable bed, TV with various English channels -- all made our four-day stay an enjoyable one. 24-hour reception service was very important for us because we arrived after midnight and also had to leave early. Location is right at the heart of this beautiful city.

Hotel com boa relação custo e benefício

A estadia no hotel Paulista foi muito boa. A localização permite deslocar-se a pé por grande parte das principais atrações do Porto. E se não quiseres andar, podes tomar um ônibus ou metrô. Se quiseres ônibus, pode ser o local ou turísticos. Há todas as empresas a poucos metros do hotel. O café da manhã é bem modesto. Atende a quem não seja muito exigente.

Simples e bem localizado

O hotel é muito simples mesmo, mas é limpo e fica na praça da Liberdade, em frente à estação Aliados - o que é ótimo para quem pretende ir de metrô para o aeroporto.
