"Our 2-night stay was comfortable; The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. What made it special though was Ricardo at the front desk. He patiently helped us plan our day and gave us honest advice: which tourist traps to skip, and what was actually worth our time and money. He also recommended a great lunch spot. I had tried planning the day with an AI app beforehand, and Ricardo did a far better job in half an hour, based on what we actually like. Thank you, Ricardo. We'd happily...

"The facility is lovely and the service was beyond compare. The spa was among the very best I’ve been to, and the on site restaurant is excellent. It’s a bit of a walk to sites, but worth it to be removed from the crowds and have beautiful grounds with a pool. The hotel lives up to its 5-star rating."

"My stay at Hotel Vice Rei was wonderful! If you are good on foot, everything is within a walkable distance. Walking to Rua da Cedofeita and Rua do Rosário takes around 15–20 minutes (10–15 if you're a quick walker like me).
Just like other reviewers said, the hotel is a bit outdated, but that doesn't take away from its charm; it brings a warm, cozy vibe. Just be mindful of a bit of noise from the pipes/toilets.
I didn't get breakfast at the hotel since I hadn't included it in my booking,...

"Air conditioning worked great. My dads shower only cold water the whole time. My shower was backing up grim coming up. Cleaning staff never refilled our water teas or coffee whole time we were there pretty much staying a week, did not do good job of cleaning, and would kick you out of your room to clean on their timeline. Left higher tips to see if that got better service on cleaning and it did not. The check in process was too clunky for my senior citizen dad to do so I had to do everything....
