"The property makes creative use of its small space in the historic area. We enjoyed our balcony view of the city from our studio. Fresh and new inside with a Roman wall in the back. Staff is wonderful and genuinely helpful. Breakfast is good too. But do not plan to drive or park there. The road is very narrow. We left our car at a nearby parking garage. Wonderful location in the walkable historic district near the river."

The location of this property is genuinely breathtaking as it provides perfect views of the Douro and of the neighbouring Vila Nova de Gaia. Bars and restaurants are literally on the doorstep and as boats are moored just metres from the front door, leisure activities are readily available. "Arco Apartments is a true gem in Porto. The location is fantastic, right by the old city in a unique historic Arc and stairs. While the stairs can be a bit challenging, there’s a wonderful wine bar next door that makes for a perfect pause. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed in the kitchen. The cute patio was a lovely bonus. A perfect blend of charm, style, and convenience. Highly recommended."

"The overall stay was good but I just wish the check in process were better that they could have inform us a little bit earlier before we arrive or checked in. I emailed them before arrival but they reply really late. We stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday and there's a change in the gate code to get inside the building. They never informed us. They told me to email me the new code instead of just saying it directly and I waited for their email which never came. So I have to call them and ask...

"The stay was overall excellent. The staff friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet good but would have appreciated seeing different options. The food at the bar could improve as well but was not bad. The only problem is that taxis can't drop you off at the hotel and you have to walk uphill a little with the luggage. I would absolutely return. Money well spent. "
