loved our stay at Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia. The location was fantastic. Everything was within walking distance, including the Gaia cable car, the riverfront, and plenty of restaurants and wine cellars. The views were the highlight. Looking across the Douro River at Porto is absolutely beautiful, especially around sunset. Staying in Gaia gave us what we thought was the best perspective of the city. The hotel is elegant, peaceful, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.

We loved everything about Tivoli Kopke - the location is perfect, quiet, but a short walk downhill to the bustling waterfront. The views of the river and bridge are great. The hotel is stylish, with fabulous art and architecture and the gardens and pool are heavenly. The food and drinks were all excellent. The spa is small, but the quality of treatments is high - especially the Indian Head Massage.

Excellent value for money… don’t be tempted by hotels north river, this is where you want to be. Short walk to river front, just a bit longer and you’re over the bridge. Lots idle space and the vibe is great. You have a wonderful view of Porto from here. Staff if great.

Brilliant hotel in a beautiful location but if you don’t book the indoor pool before you arrive you probably won’t get to use it. We tried to use it for one of our three days after we arrived but were told we needed to book it. We were then told it was already fully booked for all days of our trip. So the only way we could have used the indoor pool is to book it before we arrived - but we did not know we had to book it.

If you want a beautiful view of Porto this hotel is the right choice! The hotel is beautiful and all attractions, Restaurant’s, bars and sight seeing are just walking distance. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. A quick 3 to 5 minute walk down to the river. The staff were very friendly, helpful and at your beck and call. I highly recommend this property. The tasting with wine pairing was absolutely fabulous. Book your stay you won’t regret it.

Its a beautiful hotel, the rooms were stunning - spacious, modern and facilities like wardrobe space, tea/coffee facilities and bathroom. Staff were excellent - very helpful with things to do, places to go and general information. The location was also great - lots of places to eat and drink around but equally easy to get to the city centre on foot. Although it 25 mins walking so not perhaps for everyones liking.
