Residence Inn by Marriott Portsmouth Downtown/ Waterfront
Great location and staff was pleasant. We stayed at a room near the elevator and the elevator beep sounds like a doorbell. It woke me from a sound sleep and since it repeated so frequently, I stayed awake. This may be something that was not brought to the hotel’s attention.

The hotel is new and clean. However the comfort of the bed and pillows was horrible. I also felt the breakfast was sub par.
