"I am not happy with the room and prices how I pay for my room"

"There is a lot of noise in the room from people and things traveling up and down the walk-way outside. Lovely property that is reasonably priced - so I would consider staying again. But I would make sure that I could be in the second room so that the hall noise isn't such an issue. Breakfast bar is awesome."

"This was a horrible hotel. The person at the front desk was rude and not helpful. Our room was dirty and smelled. The breakfast was very limited and crowded. Will not be staying here again and have recommended our friends not stay here either."

"Breakfast was false advertising…there was none. the bathroom had black mold, the room door wouldn’t shut because of weatherstripping coming off and one of the lights was broken hanging off the wall. The swimming pool had clumps of hair in the bottom. Hidden fees at checkout. Spend the same at a Best Western and get a much nicer stay. Sadly this was a mistake, next we will stay elsewhere"

"Well maintained, courteous staff, clean room, super comfy beds and so quiet because of the location. Great complimentary breakfast as well. Ordered a Paloma drink at the bar and that was excellent. Definitely worth it as every Marriott I’ve experienced."

"We stayed there prepandemic. The breakfast then was great. Now it's a bag of stuff hung on the door knob. Staff is not helpful. The place needs some maintensnce. Nice area but we won't be back. Too bad."

"We’ve stayed at the Avenue Inn several times over the years, and it has always been consistent, clean, and a good value. Yes, it’s a motel, and no, it’s not the fanciest place in town. Sometimes the carpet can be a little worn, but the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed enough for a solid stay. It gives you exactly what you’d expect from a motel experience: nothing fancy, but dependable. If you’re looking for a reasonable place in a good part of town, with parking and rooms clean...

"The on-site laundry room was super helpful in the middle of a long vacation with a lot of our dirty clothes! The outdoor games and sitting area were so fun and relaxing and cute. Absolutely loved the decor of the whole place. They have a restaurant that had trivia going on while we were there and the staff was super nice!"

"What a splendid hotel!!! Gorgeous historic property with all the latest amenities. Every room is beautifully decorated, as is the lobby. Our room had a lovely private area on the patio. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Location is terrific - within walking distance to a variety of dining experiences. Wish we had stayed more than one night. Highly recommended!!!!!!!"
