"Positives - Room looked nice and the air conditioning worked well and was very nice in the mini heatwave we've been having. Bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were that annoying thickness where 1 isn't enough but 2 is too many... - Gym was nice and quiet. Downsides: - Check in was busy and it seemed to be taking a long time to get through each check in. When it was my turn I realised that this was because they want your email address and phone number, then they spell it wrong, then...

"The staff were very welcoming. The bedroom was a great size, the only thing I would say, but that's just my opinion the TV could have been a little bigger, The breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt."

Bath taps didnt work towels looked grey not white Heating didnt work when we arrived lift broken for years as other guests told us too .No tissues in bathroom very poor restaurant set in beautiful grounds but not a good experience sadly "

"This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"Reception staff were disorganised. We had 2 rooms booked - one was a larger king and the other a twin. We were directed to the wrong room. After repacking and finding the correct room the a/c was not working. Engineer never appeared as promised and after a further call a receptionist came to say he couldn’t fix it. We were promised a second fan which never arrived. The twin room was set up as a double despite requesting a twin. Both rooms were a long way apart despite asking for them to be close...
