"It was our first time to the Island. We were intrigued by the price. Significantly less than other resorts. It’s centrally located allowing easy access to the north or south parts of the island. The front desk staff were amazing and very helpful. What we didn’t know was it’s on the rainy side of the island and it’s an older resort, however well maintained. Pools were excellent. "The 2 bedroom cottage was way bigger than what we expected! couldn’t have picked a better place! The staff were friendly and made check in process easy. There was no AC in the cottage, but with the extra fans provided, it was not a big deal!"

"We were in a garden view room on the first floor, and it was very nice. It was great to have a cup of coffee on the lanai the morning, or sit in the evening and hear the music. Very convenient having the Marketplace right next door with shops and eateries. Kauai Shores is conveniently located on the island. Very close to the airport, not a far drive to beaches or other attractions. Would stay there again!"

"We had a wonderful stay here. Since this is a non-air conditioned property, it’s good to know that the evening breeze keeps things cool and comfortable at night. One thing we really appreciated was that the hotel communicates through text, which made everything incredibly convenient. It was easy to ask questions, get updates, and communicate with the staff throughout our stay. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. We traveled with a medically sensitive child with special needs, and after learning about our daughter, they went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable throughout our stay. Their kindness and genuine care meant so much to our family. The young lady at the front desk, whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, was especially amazing. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the outstanding hospitality and would absolutely stay here again."

"The resort was beautiful. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The person who checked us in didn’t give us directions to our room( only a map) and she didn’t tell us there was a service to take us to room. The resort is very big. We could find our room, until a staff member on a cart took us to our room."
