"We felt safe and secure we had an amazing stay."

"The room was not as we saw on the website, we didn’t have a garden view but a large wall, which made the room really dark, the carpet was stained, the breakfast was ok until my husband saw the chef put cereals spilt on the table back in the pots with the ones to be eaten , there was a big sign outside saying come and look at our refurbished rooms, we certainly didn’t get one "

"Great breakfast menu. The Florentine eggs were delicious. Overall great food, we had 2x dinners. Pub full of locals which is always a good sign. "

"Only stayed for 1 night . Room was clean and staff very friendly . Booked an evening meal too and the food was very good . Only one thing to mention was the mattress could do with an upgrade. "

"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. We took a lovely walk along the path leading directly from the castle, and enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the hill. It is an...

"Property was in a nice location next to small river. Room was dated…patio door fell off hinges when opened, headboards were in rough shape, toilet wouldn’t flush and had to fix myself. For some reason ours was the only room without card entry which was a bit of a pain! Also beds really firm. The front desk staff were helpful as much as possible. Restaurant was quite good. Overall was ok for what we payed. "

"Cooked breakfast was exceptional and good choice of cereal on continental, although would benefit from the addition of berries and yoghurts to the menu. Food at night was also fantastic. Great prices too."

"Mixed reviews overall, my room was generally pretty clean however, I found a hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn't mine as it was about 6 inches long onnthe tiles of the shower, the window didnt stay open without wedging something underneath it, decor was tired and the TV was no bigger than a PC monitor and looked lost on the wall and wasnt vaguely visible from the bed and everytime the fridge in the room clicked on and off it turned the TV off and on again (annoying to say the least).
