Generator Dublin
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great place to stay with our 3 kids. It was nice to have a private room for the family, and each kid could have their own bed and locker compared to sharing beds at a hotel! This was the first time we tried communal bathrooms but it actually was not a big deal! The bathrooms were clean and convenient and there was a sink in the room for brushing teeth. There is a grocery store right down the street which was convenient for grabbing things before heading out to see things. The Dublin express stop, to get to the airport, was only a quick walk away and the public transport was also close by!"

Ashling Hotel Dublin

"The Ashling is located in a convenient location for public transportation. They have a great breakfast in the morning. The staff was very helpful in accommodating my family on this trip."

The Plaza Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great property, near a shopping mall and public transportation. Just a 5 minute walk to buses and the tram. Staff were helpful. There was a nice restaurant and cafe. They did have air conditioning but it shut off (on a timer?) each night and we had to get up and turn it back on in the middle of the night each night."

The Hendrick Smithfield

"Building maintenance gentleman was super friendly and helpful. Went the extra mile."

Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown
10/10 Excellent
"Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and efficient at both check-in and check-out, making everything quick and easy. The bathroom was a great size and spotlessly clean. Having both a separate bath and shower was a lovely feature. The bedroom had a great TV with attractive lighting around it, and the tea and coffee facilities were good. A nice touch was the water jug provided, which could be refilled on designated floors. There was also a small fridge, although it didn’t get particularly cold. The gym was outstanding – easily one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking available. There were a few areas that could be improved. The room only had limited mirrors, so I had to do my makeup in the bathroom. The bedside lamps didn’t work, which was a little inconvenient. There was some noticeable water damage around the bedroom windows, and with the full-length windows only having curtains (and no net or sheer curtains), there was no privacy unless the curtains were fully closed. The air conditioning worked but wasn’t especially powerful. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and would happily consider staying again."

Binary Hub

"The room is very “compact” but reasonably sized for one person, would be small but adequate for a couple. I had smaller for two elsewhere in the past. Was very clean, nice shower. Bed would be tight but ok for two people. Didn’t use the kitchen. No tv or AC but the weather wasn’t too warm and cooled off at noght so the very small opening of the window and small fan made it comfortable at night. Very helpful staff, they were great and very accommodating. Would have taken my luggage in storage early but allowed me to check in early as my room was ready."

Killashee Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was lovely, as were the grounds. All 5 star. The bedroom and bathroom were large and very clean, quiet and comfortable with excellent amenities. However on our visit the room was so warm (despite closed curtains) that it was quite unbearable. There was a helpful fan but it only moved the warm air around. No air conditioning in our particular room. Otherwise we had the most lovely time and have no hesitation recommending the Killashee."
