"What a lovely hotel. This is the first hotel in Pictou and it is gorgeous. The entire hotel is gorgeous, our room was wonderful and the breakfast was nice. The only downsize is that there is no elevator so it was alot of steps to get to the first floor room."

"The location was fantastic! The establishment has been restored amazingly. Check in was easy, once the code worked for our door. No elevators and we were on the third floor, so we brought up only what we needed for the night. It was clean, quiet and our bed was comfortable. Location is great, walkable to the boardwalk and restaurants. "

"Such a great place. Too bad we were not able to stay long. There is a shared bathroom, that was very clean. They offer a breakfast, which was probably outstanding with all their fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs - yes they have chickens, geese, lambs and vegetable gardens and strawberries growing there. However, we had to leave early to catch the ferry and we’re still offered a great continental breakfast. Such a refreshing and relaxing place to stay. A glimpse of living close to the land. They...
