"I needed to change the check in date, I wrote to the hotel and they didn't answer, I contacted expedia and told them about the issue, they called the hotel, they said they would contact me but they never did. Basically they kept the money, as I had already paid online. The worst customer service ever. Take that into account, do not pay them in advance."

"We had a wonderful time at this homestay. Our hosts were fantastic and made us feel right at home. The meals were very good and there was so much food! Scott even suggested some rainy weather activities which were fantastic! Check out the Sao So King Herbal Bath if you get the chance! We would definitely recommend this stay!"

"Unfortunately no one on site when we arrived. Comfortable clean bed. However the place needs a lot of maintenance. Shower head was broken, wardrobe hanger broken, slat on bed surround broken. Bikes offered for free but unusable, broken chains, flat tyres, broken bearings in pedals. We left after our first night to paradise 2 doors down the road. Wouldn't recommend staying here."

"Staff is very friendly and very helpful. They gave me a great tour on a moto of the surrounding tourist sites, cooked me delicious breakfast every morning, and gave me some free wine every night. My room was clean, toilet and shower works great, and plenty of hot water. The surrounding city/village is beautiful. They assisted me in booking my next bus to Sapa village. "
