"We stayed in a club room on the 51st floor it was fabulous
Yes you are out of the main district but it is a short taxi ride from Pudong to Nanjing Rd and this hotel is definitely worth it
The staff are incredible
They are so helpful and friendly and we stayed here 9 days and loved every minute
We have found Shanghai to be a great city very clean and the people delightful
Thank you Ritz Carlton to get 10 stars from us ❤️"

"The room layout is perfect. Enjoyed all the detail. Leather covered at coffee counter, and sliding shoes rack at the wardrobe bottom are very thoughtful.
The only thing that can be improved is the shower area which is mixed with bathtub area, make it all wet during showering, especially when the rain shower is used.
Rail bar for wet towel should be added."

"Soy un gran fan de Mandarín. Calculo que he estado en cerca de 30 distintos en todo el mundo. Donde hay uno, lo elijo. El de Shanghai, muy inesperadamente, no me pareció sobresaliente en servicio y en calidad de sus restaurantes, a pesar de haber experimentado"

"A Brilliant Hotel with Exceptional Staff
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The executive lounge was excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel were incredibly attentive, welcoming and professional.
A special mention goes to Vera and the concierge team, who were particularly helpful and arranged a fantastic tour of Shanghai’s Zhujiajiao Ancient Water Town for us. Their service really made our stay extra special.
The only downside for us was the location, as we found we needed to take...

"I've stayed at the Regent in Taipei so trusted it would just as good in Shanghai. Clearly something is missing. Huge shortage of staff in comparision. Not enough at front desk, aside from the environment it is not different than a 2 star motel. All the staff are very friendly and helpful when they have time and get to you.
Had to ask reguarly for more coffee and cream in the room. Budget cuts come to mind when these things add up. Staff cuts, skimping on little things like coffee creamers, only...
