Club Del Carmen

"First visit to Club Del Carmen, we had a great time and would definitely return. 2 bed apartment was perfect, air con in both bedrooms and the lounge, comfy beds, clean and well stocked with everything you need. The complex feels safe with card access needed to enter. All the staff were very helpful, the sunbed booking system is perfect, saves those early morning starts to get something. We visited in the peak of summer (Aug) and had no problems with getting a decent bed. The pool and hot tub are great and the pool are was cleaned daily by the chap on the floor scrubber. My only slight criticism (more constructive for the complex than anything) is the cocktails and some of the drinks (sangria for example) could be improved from the onsite bar, we've stayed at other Hilton complexes and when the happy hour bell rings there's a dash to the bar, it wasn't so apparent here and I think if the drinks were improved slightly there would be more demand throughout the day (not just happy hours). The food and entertainment were great, we were able to watch the film one evening from our balcony and it was nice that they re-opened the pool till the film ended at about 11pm. Did we have a great holiday... Yes absolutely! Would we return... Yes without a doubt! PS save yourself some cash, the bus drops off and picks up right outside the complex and it's one 1.40 EUR per person per trip, the taxi from the airport cost us 17 EUR."

"I have visited Lanzarote loads and have always stayed in Puerto del carmen. However, after my visit to these apartments I will definitely be back. I booked last minute and I have honestly never stayed in such an amazing place for the price. If your looking for a chilled out time the I recommend you stay here. My only negative if there has to be one is that there is. Omar conditioning but this would not stop me going back"

"We stayed as a family, 2 adults, 2 children. The apartment was well serviced and was clean, and fresh towels and linen were provided regularly. The pool was spacious and the kids enjoyed having it fully available every day, and made some new friends. The area also has many sunbeds so there was no sunbed wars! The apartment was well located with amenities close by - a smaller supermarket (less than 5mins walk) and a larger one, maximum 10 minutes, with the strip full of restaurant and bars a 12mins walk and the beach just beyond that. Its a little bit further (25mins walk) to the old town, but buses are available close by, or taxi's which are cheap. We also went to Rancho Zoo which was excellent for the kids, and they really enjoyed the added bonus of the waterpark there too."
