Incredible experience staying here, highly recommended. The team was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to have amazing hospitality.
The room and balcony were very comfortable and the garden / cafe are fantastic. One block from my favorite beach in Puerto Escondido
I missed my flight and needed to find somewhere close to airport, but with very close beach access. The place was very quaint and perfect for my needs. The hosts were very accommodating and nice!
We loved our time here. The staff are kind and friendly and the room was clean with good air conditioning. The garden is also very beautiful and peaceful, especially at night, and the property is only a 10 minute walk to Playa Carrizalillo.
The owners were kind and welcoming with good recommendations on the activities I was planning. The bungalow was amazing, although I only used the outdoor kitchen once. Thicker curtains would help keep the room dark at night, when a string of lights came on outside in the garden for some reason.
Property boasts incorrect descriptions, which are deceiving:
A. “Top rated beach location”. In reality, the hotel away from the beach, it has no view of water. Rather, the view is of a run down fenced place.
B. “Carrizalillo beach - Walk 3 min.” The actual distance of the hotel from that beach is 0.3 miles plus 160 steps. Nobody, can do that in 3 minutes. Needless to say that going back up will take even longer.
The place itself has practically no amenities.
After 1:00 pm all chairs in the one and only sitting area are folded, staff is gone, the place feels like desolate.
The rooms are basic, no room for storage, sitting, relaxing.
We had to live out of our suitcases which were on the floor (the only place available to put them); we had to beg for window shades to keto the light away. After 3 days we for get something, that worked partially to block the sun.
Hot water was only available after continuous complaining; it took 3-4 days to get it.
The room had a comfortable bed, the one and only good thing in that hotel.

+ Quiet and a short walk to the beach.
- Lots of confusion and stress over payment as it showed on Expedia I had already paid but they insisted I hadn’t. Had to call Expedia and chat with agent online to sort out. Unnecessary.
Overall expensive for what you get - which is essentially a room behind a restaurant, albeit in a nice garden.

The location of the Villa Mozart is excellent, if you want to be in playa Carrizalillo, its 5 min walk to the steps down which are 175 counted. The hotel has 5 bedrooms, I think, small, lots of plants at the entrance and a hidden restaurant. The room has a good size and I has a king size bed. I would just suggest few things. Have water in the room for the guest, it is very hot and water is necessary. There is AC and I got cold at night, asked for a blanket, they did not provided but only another sheet. They could have beach towels for the guest to return, of course, basically, there are little details that will increase it from average to really nice.
This place is amazing, love the garden, the restaurant with delicious food, love the area close to , market, other restaurants, close to beaches, the personal was friendly, place feels relaxed, safe and very clean. I really recommend this place.
The room, which was actually an apartment with kitchen and 2 balconies, was basic but fine. The best thing was the lovely garden, where we had breakfast in. Nice to hang out there.
Also the hotel staff was really friendly and helpful.
Villa Mozart is a beautiful little hotel set in a unique tropical garden! The owner and staff were extremely kind and helpful! Bedroom was clean with tasteful decor. The whole property is very well cared for with a welcoming atmosphere!

Big ants kept getting into the room and I would have loved if the breakfast was open a little earlier.
This place is beautiful.i had a bungalow witch was very spacious and nice. The owner is a very nice lady, she was very helpful. The place is in a quiet location about 5 mint from a lovely beach.Wifi was a bit spoty. I recomend this place.
I like that it was close to the beach. I didn’t like that there was no hot water, bugs in the room and had to pay extra for A/C.

We lost power during a rainstorm and our room started to flood then a bunch of cockroaches started to come inside due to the large crack between the door and wall of our room. It was an absolute nightmare. We ended up only staying 1/3 nights and moved to a better hotel. The property was also very noisy with loud music. I won't be staying at this hotel again.
I had to leave after one night. There were too many ants crawling on floor and wall. The hist moved me to the "upgraded" room but it had no AC and still had some ants crawling around. I guess if your expectations are really low it isn't bad. But if you are like me, that likes nice things -don't stay here

Checking in was rough. There was no person at a central location to check us in. The person that eventually helped us did not speak English even though the hotel advertised that English was spoken. This is not a huge deal, but it created confusion. The wi-fi password provided was not up to date. I tried to communicate with the staff, but no one was around and I could only communicate through email to have questions answered. I tried calling, but they told me to work through Whats App, which was not working. All in all, very frustrating.
Bungalow beware! This room is the only one on the property that doesn’t have A/C and the windows only have screens, they don’t close. So if you’re looking for a quiet room with privacy don’t book this one. The curtains on the windows are so thin they’re see through so you cant really comfortably be in there. Also, because of this there are many mosquitos and ants that you just have to sleep with unfortunately. The staff is very friendly, but the listing should have more details regarding this particular room. The towel policy is two towels per three nights, we were surprised when they wanted to charge us extra for fresh towels. Again, the staff was very welcoming and the garden area is beautiful. The locations is also great with many places to eat, playa carizalillo at walking distance, and a tour/rental place as well. Overall the room is ok, but we were not aware of these details upon booking.
O ar condicionado funcionava muito bem, a cama era gigantesca e o hotel era lindo e muito bem localizado, com fácil acesso a restaurante, bares, e o mais importante, as praias.

Staff is very nice, friendly, and responsive. Restaurant on site was very good. Location was great for beaches and restaurants.
Lugar muy tranquilo, cómodo, si buscas llegar a ver televisión lo siento porque no hay, muy cerca de la playa, jardín grande, por este motivo algunos insectos, hormigas sobre todo, pero en general buen lugar, si regresaría. Desayunos deliciosos
