"The resort was everything we intended for it to be. Staff was great and lots of entertainment and things to do. We traveled as a family with two kids. The drinks weren’t strong, only from the preferred member lounge with the premium liquor. Overall good food and trip."

"The pools were gorgeous. The beach area was poor/non-existent. It was covered in seaweed all week and only cleaned up at the end of the week. There were not enough chairs at the pool and a minimal amount of umbrellas. If you didn't get to the pool early, you didnt get an umbrella. The food was great, but there were only 3 restaurants open all week so it became repetitive. The staff was friendly."

"We had the most wonderful time at Dreams Puerto Morelos! As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no beach, so if the beach is what you are looking for this may not be the resort for you. We were traveling with our 20 month old toddler and knew going into our vacation that she would be more interested in the pool than the beach anyway, and Dreams Puerto Morelos did not disappoint! The property is gorgeous, the food is amazing, the views are breathtaking, and the staff is absolutely phenomenal! There are constant fun activities, happening, and fun for the whole family! Our toddler absolutely loved all of the shows each night! She has also been talking about the Teppanyaki cooking show since we’ve gotten home, saying “more fire”! Our chef, Esteban was so entertaining! I can’t recommend this property enough! If you are looking for a fun and relaxing vacation in a beautiful location, this place is truly wonderful!"

"Event staff, food, entertainment, bartenders, servers were awesome. We thoroughly loved the beach and the pools. Our only big complaint was the attentiveness to problems with the front desk staff. Our room was not ready until after 5:00, even though check in is at 3:00. We had been in property since 1:00. We couldn’t locate our baggage so we could at least put bathing suits on due to it being “in transit.” We felt like we lost most of our first day. We woke up at 3:00 am on our first night hot and realized we had no electricity. Front desk never answers the phone so we hiked it to the front desk in the middle of the night to report the outage. It was rectified by around 4:00 or so in the morning by maintenance. Honest problem but front desk was not bothered by our inconvenience. Our 2nd room we had was flooded every morning. Front desk claimed it was the a/c and did their best to dry it out but nonetheless, floor was soaked every morning and not a mention of moving our room. When anything was mentioned to Ivan the assistant manager, it was always a chuckle and “I’ll put it in my report” comment. Perhaps a better trained front desk with a bit more maturity to deal with guests would have resulted in a better overall experience."
