"Overall very Nice property. Got the room with upstairs pool. Not sure that was worth extra money. Didn’t use it that much. No idea why you’d pay extra for excellence club. Just got you Access to another pool and restaurant for another 1k? Food was good & staff very nice. Pools and hot tubs could have been warmer. Not their fault, but the brown seaweed ruined going into the ocean for me. Pools nice. Nice cushy loungers. Went on little speed boat snorkeling activity through onsite vendor. Was fun! Cancun hotel done didn’t have seaweed issue I don’t think. "

"Pool hair reservations were hard to get. You have to be up and at the pool before 6am to reserve a good spot for chairs. Spring break was busier than anticipated. It made the hotel feel congested. Reserving di ner reservations on the app was very difficult. We only got a few decent times, and the teppanyaki we never had a chance. It was booked the second the reservations opened. Liked the offerings, food and service, but the amount of people made it feel too busy where a larger resort may have been better."

"We had a great time, the amenities and the quality of food and drinks was top notch, including healthy options. The staff, especially Jose (Guest services), Antonio and Luis at the Casa del Mar restaurant, Juan at the front desk, were extremely helpful and took good care of us.
The bowling alley and the silent disco were the highlights of our stay.
The only downside is that the beach is full of brown seaweed. "
