"Margaritaville doesn’t have buffet service for lunch nor for dinner. This fact didn’t like my husband and me. Besides, they do not have a variety of restaurants. Other negative issue is that the minibar in the rooms is not provided by beers nor sodas, only water. We regret to note that it was the first time that we found that a resort in Cancun/Riviera Maya does not have these facilities. For this reason we would not recommend to spend your time nor your money in this hotel."

"There is NO getting into the ocean. Property located off the beach but it is full of sargassum and Ocean Coral is not doing anything about it. They have a small plow clearing some over on the privilege side but still not enough to get in the water. The food was awful!! I got sick day 2 and probably lost weight during this trip! "I think the most unique thing about this property is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and helpful.it was by far the most family friendly resort we’ve been to, wish we’d discovered it earlier! There are sooooo many pools, the kids pool area was not gross and didn’t make you feel like you were giving up part of your vacation stuck in the B tier pools. Just as good and pleasant as the adult side. We did the diamond club, I think it was worth it. Our butler, Gina, was FANTASTIC....

The gym is basic and the beach unfortunately out of commission due to seaweed, the drinks and entertainment staff were fantastic. "Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! In our unit, there were fresh fruits waiting for us on the table. Our room was surrounded by glass looking out into the jungle, and every room had access to opening...
