Rooms were great. However, buffet at Alhambra was not the best when compared to other restaurants in the Ventus properties.

Everything was perfect. This is a fantastic resort. The food was great and there was a lot of variety. I don’t eat meat, just seafood and I felt like there was enough for me. I’m the type of traveler that will look at countless resorts and reviews to figure out where to stay. It took me a while to land on this resort, but I’m glad I did. A few things to know: there’s 3 resorts all in like 5-10 min walking distance but like a 2 min golf cart ride. You have access to all 3, it feels like they’re all one big resort anyways. I picked this resort, Ventus Ha instead of the other two which is called Ventus and the other one Marina/ el cid because of the price. The names all sound similar but this one is Ventus Ha. There’s hammocks in every balcony and around the pool area which is such a fun touch. It has a rooftop pool adults only on the seventh floor with hammocks, beds, chairs and a bar. There’s a big pool also on the ground floor and jacuzzi plus a bar. There’s a hibachi restaurant called KOBO which is freaking amazing. It was so good. The other restaurant has breakfast lunch and dinner which was also yum. You have access to the other 2 hotels as well. If you want to go use their pool, or the beach or restaurants etc you can go to the lobby outside and ask for someone to take you w a golf cart. There’s always drivers in golf carts dropping people off all the time. Everyone is so nice. There’s free 24hr room service. You have to reserve restaurant for dinner in advance!

El hotel en general, es una excelente alternativa; excelentes instalaciones, excelente comida, atención. Lo único que no es tan bueno es el show de noche, pero todo es tan bueno que eso pasa a segundo plano.

The property was beautiful. The beach front as expected from photos. They are constantly up keeping the property and its shows. The food was 3 stars. It was just ok. Some great meals and some that wouldn’t be the best. There are 3 different sister resorts as apart of this one. All 3 resorts are battling for dinner restaurant reservations. Because of this we only got to eat at 3 different restaurants, the rest were buffet dinners. Service is great, pools are clean, lots of wild animals. We enough the wildlife. It is a big property but they do have golf carts to transport.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful resort and staff was very friendly. Food was great only thing that was disappointing is not being able to get food reservations for the 2 nights and the rest of the times that were available was 9;30 dinner times.

The rooms were clean. The staff was amazing. The food was so good and the pastries were the best part. The cliff pool was a huge hit with the kids.

Beautiful Hotel with great restaurants and excellent service. We stayed at the Ventus Ha and had a great time. The room was beautiful and comfy. Loved the murphy bed too. I didn't like the fact that we only had wifi for 2 phones You have to pay extra for other lines. In this day and age I think it's ridiculous. The cocktails in our lobby were fantastic. The bartender Jose was fabulous. If this hotel had a decent beach I would have rated it a 5star, but unfortunately the beach is really bad. Almost non existant.

Excellent stay. We were here for 3 nights in January 2026 as a family of 4. The entire resort is spotless, the room was very nice. Food was excellent and every staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. All frontline staff spoke excellent English, I didn't even need my terrible Spanish. As other reviews mention the beach isn't great with all the seaweed, but it is still nice for a walk or to relax on a beach chair. My only real complaint was that we were unable to get into any of the speciality restaurants despite trying several times. I have run into this problem at other resorts though so it is by no means unexpected. All in all we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Beautiful resort with amazing staff. Rooms and grounds were well mantained. The walk to the beach was not that far, just across the road, but there were numerous golf carts running to shuttle people wherever they needed to go.

Overall we had a very nice time. The food was incredible and the ambiance at Ventus Ha was amazing and peaceful. We couldn’t believe how more adults didn’t take advantage of the rooftop bars- they were incredible! The beach is awful, but we knew that coming in. I could have gotten over this due to the amazing restaurants and Ventus Ha experience, but we will not book here again due to these issues: 1) upon arrival they had my children listed as “infants” even though my Expedia receipt said they were “children”. Because my receipt did not list the explicit ages, the hotel charged us an additional $1,700 for a 5 night stay because they were “children” instead of “infants”. It was during a holiday and they were unwilling to negotiate with this exorbitant price tag. 2) The other major con is the seat reserving chess game at all the pools other than Ventus Ha. All the chairs would have a towel or a shoe indicating the chair was in use. We never saw these people come back. I don’t have any patience for this type of game while on vacation. If it wasn’t for our Ventus Ha haven, this would have been a mediocre experience for us, especially due to the check-in fiasco.

Room was excellent, restaurants at Ventas ha were the best out of the 3 hotels here. Pools nice, always had chairs available. Staff was awesome!

Our family group of 9 had an absolutely wonderful time here. The rooms were amazing, we liked the hammocks, pool, and staff. The rooms were very clean, and our butlers (Indi, Saul, and Sebastian) were fantastic. We especially appreciate the onsite 24 hour doctor: my daughter got an ear infection and it was so convenient and nice to get her treated at the hotel.

Clean rooms. Awesome staff. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Beach was lackluster, but the pools made up for it.

Pretty sure all the 5 star reviews are paid for, or bots. We didn't even stay long enough to fund out about their food after both of the 'premium' suites we booked had black mold. They offered to move us after seeing the mold, apparently for the first time. The next room they offered us was just as bad. We booked at another resort and took 2 ubers to move our family of 8. Now we have to see if we can get reimbursed. I'd highly recommend finding a different resort before spending any money here.

The property was excellent, however for an all inclusive resort we found we were unable to have evening access to the restaurants. We were told that all restaurants were completely booked for our stay and the concierge seemed to be unwilling to assist or explain. There was not any communication prior to our arrival about the need to make evening reservations or how to do that. Buffet option only for evening meals is not all inclusive level. Very disappointing.
