Aerial view of Two-Tree Island, eastern tip The eastern tip of Two-Tree Island lies within square TQ8385. It has a series of pools and dykes which attract birds, especially in the autumn. The extensive salt marsh to the right is rather bleached in August, but will form a roosting area for waders in winter at high tide. The buildings at the centre-right are those around Leigh station. Behind then are the green Belton Hills. Further along the coast above right of centre is Old Leigh.

The room was as expected for the price we paid. Towels and bedding were good. A lovely view of the lake from our window. We were only there one night and just to sleep, so can't comment on other facilities.

Check in was good. Dinner wasn't to our expectation. Staff good,but the guy at the bar was so unfriendly,not even a smile...looked like he had a long day and was tired. We had been told the swimming pool water was warm-29 Degrees...only to find it cold.

Got bit put off walking around, as when we stopped at a hotel for drink, said tickets only, as trouble if not.

Do not stay at Endevour got no sleep bed creaked and was not comfortable.Was noisy upstairs .Dirty dingy place.Breakfast I ordered was uneatable.Canvay is a wonderful place great walks and views and lots to do .Recommend the Oysterfleet Hotel

Canvey island is an ordinary small village/town, if you like it there and have already been this hotel is okay in terms of location but if you are going there expecting a beach and bustling town you will be dissatisfied.
