"Our room was lovely and a lot of care had been taken in its decoration. The bathroom was fully tiled with a Mediterranean feel. The hotel is very clean and the staff put in a lot of hard work to keep it so. We had a meal in the restaurant on our first night which was very nice and the bar was open to residents until 10.00 pm. "Excellent stay, very close too cliff’s pavilion which is the reason for stay, plenty parking even on bank holiday weekend, only issue was bit confusing about paying on Ringo App and ended up with parking ticket. You must get the location code from the Hotel! Staff friendly Breakfast very nice and very clean room, would stay again"

"I have stayed in youth hostels I would rate higher than the Hope Hotel. "OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved.
