"The room was as expected for the price we paid. Towels and bedding were good. A lovely view of the lake from our window. We were only there one night and just to sleep, so can't comment on other facilities."

"Our room was first class as was the staff we met. We just had a small breakfast but that was also top class. Only one thing spoiled it and that was Experia charging £38 more than the actual cost of the room if we had booked a hotel room directly. We won’t be using Experia again lesson learned (book direct)."

"Nice room and great breakfast but bed was a bit hard and the sink in our room filled up and water took ages to go down. Also black bits came out of the cold tap so we didn’t fancy drinking the water from it. "

"Love staying here when we visit the UK - its close to our family and friends and you get a real small village feel. Staff at the hotel are great and the breakfast is fantastic. Definitely prefer this to the any of the big name hotel chains so would absolutely recommend to anyone."

"Perfect stay, lovely location, easy parking and check in process. Spacious and well equipped room. Both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was great with very friendly and attentive staff which look after our needs. Looks forward to repeat visit. Very good value for money. "

"What an awful stay - everything was OK until I woke up in the small hours of the morning with bites all over my arms. I ended up sleeping width ways at the foot of the bed as I am certain that bedbugs had bitten me whilst lying on the pillows by the headboard. I complained to Debbie in the morning and she steadfastly refused to acknowledge that it could be bedbugs even though I showed here all the bites, including 2 on my neck. "We spent five nights staying at the property with our dog. We had a great time! The staff were great, food was excellent and it was a nice location for local walks. We also charged our car using the EV charger on site, which was great. Great value overall! "
