"We went with our 6 and 9 year old kids for a week and it was the perfect vacation. The water around the resort is so calm and beautiful. It makes snorkeling and other water activities very easy to do with kids. The excursions are well priced and the food was very good. "The Fiji Orchid is a lovely relaxed hotel with 6 villas tucked amongst lush greens. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful. There is no useable beach nearby and you need a vehicle to go anywhere off the property but it’s near 2 towns and several attractions. There is always someone available to drive you. It’s very convenient to the airport so it’s a good choice for a few nights on the big island. "

"The staff were so helpful. our daughter arrived very late and there was no food available and the staff went into the cafe and found cookies and cake. The day of our checkout I left my IPad behind- I was contacted and then the staff very graciously arranged for a guest checking out the next day to bring it to me at our next destination. Above and Beyond service! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Palms for a stay in Denarau! And the cafe coffee and breakfast were all fantastic! "
