"This hotel is missing the target by quite a long way. There are two issues and both are the responsibility of the leadership.
Firstly its remote, no good local restaurants or bars within a reasonable walk.
Given that fact its frankly amazing that the hotel has just one very poor offering and it closes for two hours in late afternoon so if you fancy a pre dinner drink on your holiday, forget it.
And then there are the rules! …
As you check in you will be handed two sheets of them, and they cannot under any circumstances be flexed. To avoid a long explanation, let me give just one. They offer you a welcome drink, coffee or soft drinks are allowed. We chose two Americano’s but we were refused a splash of milk , the rules said that we had to pay for the milk! So we did.
Recommendation to the hotel, tear up the rules and empower your team, tell them to have just one purpose, to focus on making their guests feel welcome, isnt that the purpose of a good hotel??"
