"Be warned! I turned up tired after a long journey and was told my booking had been moved to a different hotel. No one had felt the need to let me know. There was no apology and no explanation as to why no one had bothered to communicate this! I then had to lug my suitcase in the heat to a completely different hotel. The new hotel was significantly cheaper and Hotel Vis have refused to refund the difference. So be very careful about booking here!"

"Hotel Lapad is a charming hotel in a lovely location.. My room had a small balcony with a beautiful side view of the sea, which I really enjoyed. However, considering the price, I expected the room to be a little more comfortable and updated. My experience with the front desk staff was mixed. Although they were helpful at times, their manner occasionally felt a bit unwelcoming, and I sometimes hesitated to approach them with questions or requests\. "Truly a lovely hotel! The staff were all very kind and super helpful as well as very accommodating. The room and surrounding area was beautiful and only a 5 minute walk from the beach with lots of shops and restaurants to check out. Breakfast selection was quite nice as well as an included à la carte breakfast if you weren’t vibing with the buffet options. "The rooms were comfortable and clean. We had to leave early and they prepared a great boxed breakfast. The rooms have a nice device for drying clothes. The shower pressure was great! They gave us a free bottle of Merlot, which my girlfriend said was great. FYI - we used Uber for the airport and Uber was wrong - they picked a spot in Old Town (before we started the ride, we asked since the fare seemed low) - so we tried again and it worked."
