"Immaculate clean rooms in a pleasant, fairly large hotel just meters from one of the best white sand beaches in Europe. Staff were all great. Good supermarket only 5mins walk away. Negatives: It's very much a child-friendly hotel -- as we knew and nothing wrong with that -- but even so it felt unnecessarily sterile in the evenings, with the kids singalong more or less the main event at 20:30, and aimed at very young children. "A very nice location in the old part of the city. The rooms are beautiful and centered on an inner courtyard. Be aware that there is no staff on duty between 9PM and 9AM so you’ll need to read the communications from the property carefully ahead of time, especially if you arrive late. The shower was very nice but they only offered a two-in-one shampoo/body wash so keep that in mind and bring some of you need it."

Lovely duplex apartment within walking distance of shops, bars although care needs to be taken on the apartment's open staircase down to the main bedroom and on the steep staircase up to the roof terrace. Only thing preventing a full 5 stars is that the property, which sleeps up to 4 and was booked for our family of 3, was only set up for 2 persons - the sofa bed had no available bedding (although reception...
