"Four of us stayed for a week at the Hotel Negresco in August. It's in a very convenient location in Playa de Palma, just across the street from the beach and adjacent to several bus lines going to the city and the airport. The staff members were wonderful: they were always polite, friendly, and helpful, and most were multi-lingual. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was well-maintained. We only had a couple of minor complaints. First, the room air conditioning could not cope...

"The location was great as was the included buffet breakfast. The bed was comfortable, and the a/c worked well. We appreciated that parking was included as options can be slightly limited during high season. The gym/fitness center has a good selection of equipment including yoga mats, and the spa facilities are clean and nice to have access to."

"The room itself was pleasant. I will say that I was very dissatisfied with the urgency of clean amenities and laundry in our room. We asked for new towels daily which they stated was changed every two days. Fair enough. But as this hotel was located beachside, we had to use our towels from the hotel for the beach as well as showering and when we requested towels on day two, we were expected to wait until late afternoon which I find unsanitary."
