Manukan Island hotel guide. OYO Rooms hotel in Manukan Island, Sabah

Amazing resort in an amazing location. Bit pricey but you can see why. Fantastic end to our 3 week trip in Borneo

Another fantastic stay at this hotel. So friendly and everything very modern. A great place to stay in KK

Good stay, convenient located at central with most thing walking distance, special shout out to front desk staff Wayne for being so helpful, if we ever return to KK will definitely stay here

Great hotel, central for airport, beach and sightseeing. Excellent restaurant within the hotel JoJo for lunch and evening meals. Minimarket 2 doors away

This property was lovely- clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The availability of items such as luggage scales and umbrellas, as well as daily water bottles, was a nice touch. The staff were communicative and easy to get hold of. 10/10

Excellent stay! Clean, comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, and a great location. Everything was perfect – highly recommended, would definitely stay here again!

Clean. Staffs were very kind. Will use it again.

Amazing place. The breakfast downstairs is so good. They need to redo the photos for the apartments as it’s loads better than it looks on the site. Great location. Night food market just outside and a great mall next door. Highly recommend.

I went in April 2016 and it was very quiet so felt like we had the resort to ourselves. I had an ocean hut which was stunning - complete with a deck and stairs leading to the ocean. A breakfast boat delivered our breakfast every morning. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Free snorkelling and kayaking, free boat to the mainland twice a day, and also to the sister resort (bunga raya) which has an amazing beach, restaurants and infinity pool. My only very small criticism is alcohol is very...

The shower was amazing. The staff were very helpful when we arrived at 1:30 am after 20 hours of travelling.

We've just returned from 3 weeks travelling to KL, Bali & Borneo, Gaya Island Resort was our last hotel and we had definitely saved the best till last! The hotel was so welcoming and brilliant from when we first stepped off the speed boat to when we stepped back on it to return to the mainland 4 days later. Such a nice touch having the staff wave everyone off the Island too! The staff were so fantastic, the private beach brilliant and the view from our room was perfect (Room 801). Food was...

The facilities we had in the room were top notch. Location is great as well but only downside the view from the room isn’t that great.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff, there's an Orange store (very similar to 7 11) , an Indian restaurant and a cafe all in the vicinity. The only negative is the location as you'll have to take a Grab to travel around Kota Kinabalu.
