"Our stay had both highlights and disappointments.
Upon arrival, we entered through the staff pier, and unfortunately, it made a very poor first impression. There was trash everywhere, and it was disappointing to see such a beautiful island not being properly maintained. The hotel should invest in keeping this area clean, as first impressions matter and play a big role in whether guests return or leave positive reviews.
The villa itself was excellent—clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views. We enjoyed both the sunrises and sunsets from our room, and the private dipping pool was a welcome feature in the hot and humid weather. The only issue was that the previous guests had stored durian in the refrigerator, leaving behind a strong odor.
The food was average. While the breakfast buffet offered a good variety, several restaurants frequently ran out of basic ingredients such as tomatoes, mangoes, avocados, and crab. The meals were acceptable but not particularly memorable. We were also disappointed that the tapas bar was closed for a private event one evening, limiting our dining options. Since there are no restaurants nearby, purchasing the all-inclusive package is probably the best value.
The staff were pleasant but appeared overworked, and the level of service did not reflect what we expected from a five-star luxury resort. While the resort grounds were generally well maintained, many of the building exteriors showed noticeable wear and need"
