"Makes a nice base for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Room was recently refreshed with a coat of paint and nautical decals and new curtains. New floor treatment is nice with a rug in the center of the room. Bathroom got a refresh as well new fixtures and flooring. The continental breakfast was just adequate. Kind of a strange set up just off the lobby. 10 am checkout should be bumped to 11am. We did not utilize the pool but it seemed ok."

"Lots of extras like coffee and tea all day. Also the appetizer tray was nice. Because of all the kids I would recommend 9-10pm for the hot tub/pool as adult only. Even though the sign said no kids under 12 in hot tub that was not the case."

"This is a great location for walking into town or heading into Acadia Park. The hotel is very basic, clean and quiet. We enjoyed walking into town(10 to 15 min ) as parking in town is impossible and expensive. The room is very basic.....nothing fancy. The air conditioner was hard to regulate and very noisy.. other than that it was a good experience."
