"Great server, but avoid Room 207
Upon entry, it's the typical Marriott. One highlight of our stay was our server, a woman with red hair. She's Italian, speaks Italian and Spanish, and you'll find her at the bar or serving guests by the pool. She was kind and courteous, remembered us, and gave us great recommendations. She even told us we could order to our room any time it got too crowded. She's super customer-friendly and made us feel welcome.
Our room, however, was a letdown. Please do not book Room 207. Unlike most other rooms, it has no balcony because it sits above the slanted section at the front of the building.
The toilet had a long delay after flushing. It took several minutes for the bowl to refill, so if one person used it, the next had to wait anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes.
The cabinet under the TV was askew and coming apart. It didn't bother us much, but it was visibly broken furniture. The TV itself didn't work for most of our stay. It went through several refresh cycles and only started working on our last day. Since we were out most of the time it wasn't a huge deal, but it would have been nice to have a working TV to fall asleep to.
Finally, we didn't realize we'd be charged $20 a day for parking until I saw the printed bill. I don't mind paying for parking in general, but we were already paying guests and the spots are right there on the property. It feels like an unnecessary fee just to make more money."
