"We had a fantastic stay at the Oglethorpe Lodge! The location is unbeatable—right on Bay Street in the heart of Savannah. "It was nice having private rooms, however the game room was not as advertised. The pool sticks were all broken or had no tips. The pool table was uneven. The air hockey table had water damage and no padding on the bottom of the pushers. Would have been a great place to state if everything was updated and fixed. "

"I never leave reviews but felt this one definitely deserved it. Traveled to many places and can say my favorite to date. Everything was just as described if not better, and knowing the lot was under 24 hour surveillance I didn’t have to worry about anything other than enjoying time with the family. Have nothing negative to say about the overall experience. "

"The location of this unit is the absolute best in the complex. Watching the sun rise over the ocean while sipping coffee from the balcony was priceless. It was a quick walk to the boardwalk to get to the ocean, and the heated outdoor pool is in this building. The indoor pool, workout area, and hot tub were a quick walk down a couple buildings, but very easy to get to. The unit had a fully stocked kitchen. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return some day. "

"Our condo was tight, but enough for two. It shows its age. Shortage of bedroom space / storage. Well appointed kitchen. Tight dining/living area. Curtain did not fully cover sliding glass door. Sliding glass door did not latch (maybe add a rod to drop into the track?) We were there in off-season, short notice. The price point was right for us. Parking instructions/requirements were vague and maybe outdated, maybe because of pavement/painting work in progress. Management was very responsive and...
