Excellent resort au niveau de la propreté. La finesse dans les details. Par contre, la piscine privée a quelques tuiles manquantes sur le bord. En général, resort à recommander. Sauf qu'il faudra prévoir un service voiturier si vous ne réservez pas avec le resort directement. Expédia a été plus ou moins clair sur cette information. Nous avions dû payer de nos poches des frais de transport (taxi) à un prix touristique!

Excellent swim up room with lots of deck furniture, hammock in the pool, pool heated so can enjoy at night. Sun beaming in first thing in the morning and sun directly out from 7:30AM roughly until about 3;30PM and the sun does not set until about 6:45 so lots of time outside.

The room was in excellent condition and the staff was warm and welcoming. As a solo traveler, however, I was disappointed in the lack of activities at the resort, which consisted exclusively of couples and young families. The housekeeping service was spotty, and although there are plenty of restaurants, the food quality was mediocre. With the exception of the buffet, the portion sizes were tiny. For those who care to watch TV during their stay, the image kept freezing, likely because of a poor WiFi signal. Finally, the resort map in the app and on the grounds is confusing. It would have been better to have the app resort map connect to GPS to provide walking directions.

My group has been to Punta Cana around 10 times, always choosing new resorts to get new perspectives. Finest (excellence Club) was our favorite to date. Service was impeccable from check-in to Checkout. The rooms we're spacious, clean, and fully stocked EVERY day. Never had a need to ask for new waters or new beverages in the room because they fully re-stocked daily. Views from the rooms are great, and the pool scene was fabulous! Service at the pool bar made our entire trip amazing. Quick service to the pool, to your chairs, to the Jacuzzi's, or to anywhere. Mary, Germann, Rafael, Javier, and Jerinson we're truly top notch waitstaff who truly cared about service. The food was also really good (for all-inclusive food). Is it 5 star food? No - But truly the best resort food we have ever experienced hands down. Food trucks we're a fun alternative to the buffet, and you could also order food directly to your chair at the pool. I would book this resort again in a second, except we always like new adventures. Next time I will try a different Excellence Property though!

It all started with the warmest welcome and introductions ! Beautiful island with a beautiful resort. Every single person was so nice and always going above and beyond. There’s not one negative thing I can say about this resort, rooms, pools, beaches, personnel; it was all over the top wonderful. The food at all of the restaurants were better than I ever had or even had the opportunity to ever try before. We will be visiting again soon ! Thank you for such an EXCELLENT experience!

Loved everything about this resort. Spotlessly clean, friendly, courteous staff, great food choices and the swim up room was fantastic, They even sent a cake for my birthday and another for my wife's birthday as we celebrated both while we were there. Thank you for a great stay.

The food was inconsistent and served cold most times unless it was cooked in front of you. Shrimp was not deveined at Dommo. The food at Lizo was the same as the food at the kids section of the buffet as is the room service. The room was very nice and 99% of the staff are wonderful. We were in love with the resort for the first few days but then the cracks began to show. We have stayed at Excellence Punta Cana and Excellence El Carmen and right now we do not think we would return to Finest.

The staff was amazing! Henry at the excellence bar, Adrian at the Gusto restaurant and Mary at the sunset swim up bar were all fantastic! The rooms were cleaned every day. From everyone at the welcome desk that unloaded our luggage to the gentleman that showed us around the resort to all the workers on the beach they were all accommodating.

We had the 2 story beachfront suite, but there was a large balcony with a pool underneath us that extended really far out. So you can look down and see everything. People would come out there and smoke, a lot. That made it impossible for us to enjoy our own outdoor space. Room itself needs a lot of noise protection. We could hear every footstep, every conversation, and every noise from the hotel staff outside our door. The resort itself was well cared for, but staff was not friendly at all. There were a few exceptions, but most would t even say hi or smile. Excellence club pool needs some serious cleaning. There was debris and bird poop floating around every day. Overall, for how much the resort costs, it definitely does not live up to a supposed 5 star rating. Food was mediocre at best. “Club” service was very lacking in service. This is my 4th time coming to DR and this was the most expensive resort I’ve stayed at, but it was the worst experience I’ve had.
